Ezanic 20% Gel is a topical medication primarily used to treat acne (pimples) and rosacea (redness and visible blood vessels on the face). It contains 20% azelaic acid, a dicarboxylic acid with antibacterial, keratolytic (removes warts and calluses), comedolytic (prevents blemishes), and antioxidant properties. The gel works by killing acne-causing bacteria, reducing inflammation, unclogging pores, and promoting skin renewal to minimize pimples, blackheads, and post-acne hyperpigmentation. It also helps lighten skin by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production, making it effective for melasma and dark spots. Suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin, it typically shows results within 4 weeks but may require several months for optimal effects.

How to Use:
- Cleanse the affected area with a mild cleanser or plain water and pat dry.
- Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected areas with clean, dry hands, usually twice daily (morning and evening) or as directed by your doctor.
- Gently massage the gel into the skin until absorbed.
- Wash hands thoroughly after application.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, or mucous membranes; rinse immediately with water if contact occurs.
- Use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily, as azelaic acid may increase sun sensitivity.
- For sensitive skin, start with once-daily application (evening) for the first week, then increase to twice daily if tolerated.
- Do not cover the treated area with bandages or dressings unless instructed by a doctor.
